About Alex Presenter Watchers

Alex Presenter Watchers is a private automation system used by Alex Ranahan to identify and organise professional presenting opportunities.

It is not offered as a service to the public. Access to Google account data is used solely for Alex Ranahan’s own job-monitoring workflow.

Google user data accessed

Alex Presenter Watchers uses read-only Gmail access to retrieve email messages and associated information required to identify and process selected job and casting alerts.

The system does not use its Google access to send emails, delete emails, modify emails, mark emails as read, archive emails or otherwise make changes to the Gmail account.

How Google user data is used

Google user data accessed by Alex Presenter Watchers is used only to identify, extract, organise, deduplicate and assess professional opportunities contained in selected job-alert emails.

The system is designed to process relevant job-alert information so that useful opportunities can be presented to Alex Ranahan in a consolidated form.

Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling for advertising purposes, or any unrelated purpose.

Data storage and protection

Authentication credentials and tokens used by the local automation are stored privately and are not intentionally made publicly accessible.

The system may store limited information derived from relevant job-alert emails where necessary to keep track of opportunities already processed, prevent duplicate alerts and operate the monitoring system.

Reasonable measures are used to restrict access to the system and its authentication credentials.

Sharing of Google user data

Google user data accessed through the Gmail API is not sold.

Google user data is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Where external service providers are used to deliver the output of the monitoring system, only information necessary for that functionality is transmitted to those providers. Such services do not receive access to the Gmail account through Alex Presenter Watchers.

Data retention

Information derived from relevant job-alert emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to identify previously processed opportunities, prevent duplicates and maintain the operation of the monitoring system.

Locally stored authentication credentials and processing data can be deleted when they are no longer required.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Alex Presenter Watchers’ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
